2011 JUL 18 - (VerticalNews.com) -- According to the authors of a study fromrnKunming, People's Republic of China, "In multiple attribute decision making (MADM)rnproblems, it is usual that no single alternative works best for all performance attributes, so it isrndifficult to select the best from among multiple available alternatives, especially in the situationrnthat the attribute weights are completely unknown. This research propose a game theory-basedrnapproach (GMADM) which incorporates static strategic game theory into MADM problems tornderive the attribute weights, and then utilize the weight arithmetic average (WAA) operator tornaggregate the attribute values corresponding to each alternative and rank alternatives by meansrnof aggregated information."
