Croatian mobile network operator Vipnet has acquired three regionalncable TV operators for an undisclosed sum. The move is innline with the operator's strategy of acquiring assets and businessesnthat enable it to provide converged services and of increasing thenreach and capacity of its infrastructure. Furthermore, as consumersnincreasingly choose broadband-delivered IPTV services, consolidationnof Croatia's fragmented cable industry around a single majornplayer is also welcomed.
