Load-flow control in EHV networks - Feasibility study on the possibilities of Facts application in Germany

摘要

The present paper describes the essential results obtained from a model analysis of the possibilities of using Flexible-AC-Transmission-Systems (Facts) in the closely meshed German power system taking account of technical and economic aspects. The necessary calculations and analyses were carried out by the Forschungsgemeinschaft fur Hochspannungs- und Hochstromtechnik e. V. (FGH), Mannheim, by order of and in close coordination with the Deutsche Verbundgesellschaft e. V. (DVG), Heidelberg, and its member companies as well as with the support of the German industry. A detailed description will be published on the occasion of the Cigre 1998 Session (SC 14) in Paris (August 1998).
