With an Android tablet and a handful of hardware, you can put together a remote control for a still camera for time-lapse photography. It also allows the picture settings to be configured from a web browser on a PC, which sends to them to the tablet via the local WiFi network.The design described here can be used with a still camera to cause it to take pictures at regular intervals. If you make a film from these pictures, the result is what is called a time-lapse film in which hours or even days are reduced to a few seconds.
