Back in 1995, with time on hands before my return flight, I was given a private tour of the RadioSpares laboratories in Corby, Northants. That's right, it's todays headquarters of RS Components. It was at a time when the first CD-ROM version appeared of the RSCatalog, complete with a search function, which was a sensation although it proved unable to find 'BC547'.
