Analysis of the DNA Microarray Hybridization Images using Morphological Image Processing

摘要

This paper presents the usefulness of the morphological image processing in analysis of the DNA micmarray hybridization pictures. The algorithm for automatic spot positioning based on the morphological covariance and morphological reconstruction will be proposed. The algorithm presented here makes it possible to easily determine two important parameters of the micmarray image: mean distance between spots and mean value of the background erosions.%W artykule przedstawiono użyteczność morfologicznego przetwarzania obrazów w analizie obrazów hybrydyzacji mikromacierzy DNA. Zostanie zaproponowany wykorzystujący morfologiczną kowariancję i rekonstrukcję morfologiczną algorytm automatycznego pozycjonowania spotów._Przedstawiony algorytm umożliwia określenie w łatwy sposób dwóch ważnych parametrów obrazu hybrydyzacji: średniej odległości między spotami oraz średniej wartości erozji tła.
