Application of the fixed-point full-order flux observer in the sensorless SFVC induction motor drive

The paper deals with chosen problems of the fixed-point implementation of the full-order state observer applied to an induction motor sensorless drive, controlled by means of the SFVC method. The basic idea of the SFVC-DTC and the used state observer of the rotor flux and speed are described. The results of simulations tests are presented and compared for both fixed-point and floating point implementation of the considered control scheme. The simulation results are verified by experimental tests.
