Gain performance of cascade of single stage distributed amplifiers [microwave circuits]

The gain performance of a cascade of single stage distributed amplifiers is compared with the conventional arrangement. It is shown that a superior gain performance is predicted by the cascaded configuration without loss of bandwidth performance.
