摘要

We analyze the performance of Positive-ACK Go- Back-N ARQ protocols(with and without time-out control) Over tandem links. The packet error or loss process on each Link is modeled by a two-state Markov chain. The analysis Is exact. However, the exact analysis becomes extremely Complicated, increasing the number of links. Thus, we also Propose an approximate analysis in which the end-to-end Packet error or loss process is approximated by a single Two-state Markov model.
