Patents for inventions¿procedure and practice

Many engineers have only a vague idea as to what can be patented, the steps necessary in applying for a patent and the benefits which accrue as a result of securing patent protection. This article attempts to answer these and other relevant questions concerning patent procedure both in this country and overseas.
