One of the fastest-growing fields in the electronics industry, medical electronics brings with it a variety of challenges for the electronics design engineer. Recently, we conducted a forum among industry representatives to discuss a variety of issues—including the "cpnsumerization" of medical devices, RoHS, miniaturization, and communication among industry participants—and their impact on the design and development process.
