The J-Lead SlimStack board-to-board connectors feature a J-shaped SMT tail that the company claims provides a 35% space savings compared with standard gull-wing-style tails. Offered in stack heights of 0.90, 1.30, 1.50, and 1.70 mm and in a 0.40-mm pitch, the connectors suit applications requiring a thin design such as cell phones, digital video and still cameras, MP3 players, and handheld GPS systems. Other features include a bottom-mold design, which al- lows circuits to be traced on the underside of the connector.
