Sfp+ Cable Assemblies Oust Fiber-optic Modules

Designed for the high-performance computing (HPC), enterprise networking, and network storage markets, the GORE SFP+ copper cable assemblies offer an alternative to fiber-optic modules for transmitting 10-Gbits/s up to 25 m. The cables are RoHS compliant. The connector is made with a high-performance, low-loss RF mate- rial to reduce dielectric loss and provide a higher-impedance control through the link and reduced crosstalk compared to FR-4 designs.
