USB connectors integrate EMI, ESD filters

The industry's first USB connectors to integrate EMI and ESD filters into a standard USB package, the Series USB-F and USB-E provide a space-saving solution that meets the USB 2.0 specification for EMI and ESD protection—ever more challenging as less space is available for components. The connectors are drop-in replacements for standard unfiltered USB connectors and can also eliminate the need to redesign PCBs in the event of noncompliance during either EMC or ESD testing.
