Intended for notebook computers, the 15.4-in. 3 0 0 -n it LCD with active LED backlight operates on 40% less power than a typical LED backlight. The active LED backlight illuminates the WXGA screen selectively, according to the image being displayed, so the LCD consumes 2.0 W or less when playing an international standard video.
