The CAR2548DC and the CAR1212DC are dc-input front-end power supplies. The CAR2548DC supply offers a power density of 27 W/in.~3, the highest-available power density in the industry, in a 1U form factor. The modules are designed to be deployed alongside existing ac/dc power supplies in datacom and telecom applications. They are able to receive 48-Vdc input power from telecom energy systems or battery-backup equipment, and in turn, provide precise 12- and 48-V power out to connected communications, computing, and storage equipment.
