When you die, will you leave a legacy?

As 2011 is nearly over, this will be the year remembered in the electronics technology industry as the year three important people passed away: Steve Jobs, who left a worldwide legacy and two famous analog gurus Jim Williams and Bob Pease, who left a legacy in the semiconductor industry. Their work in their fields will always be ad- mired and remembered for years to come. However, with their deaths I couldn't help but wonder how many of us will leave a legacy and whether it is a personal goal to even do so?
