The making of a single-chip power manager

The Lattice Semiconductor Product of the Year, Platform Manager provides a single-chip solution for digital and power management functions, and saves up to 50% cost compared to discrete designs. It also increases reliability and significantly minimizes time to market by reducing the risk of cir cuit board re-spin. The product im plements board-specific power provide an intuitive design environ-ment for analog engineers (who like-ly are not familiar with digital de-sign) that would enable them to implement complex designs in the FPGA section of Platform Manager.
