The GigaTLynx APTS050, part of the TLynx family, is a nonisolated, dc/dc PoL converter for high-current power applications. It has a footprint that is 25% smaller than similar capacity power converters and provides a current density of 6.6 A/cm2. The converter achieves 95% peak efficiency and provides full-Joad capacity up to 75℃.rnThe APTS050 module is a 50-A, non-isolated dc/dc PoL converter with an input range of 4.5 to 14 V and a programmable output voltage range from 0.7 to 2 V. It measures 33.0 x 22.9 x 10.0 mm and reduces energy loss nearly 30% compared to similar products. A Tunable Loop function helps engineers optimize the dynamic response of a dc/dc PoL product to match load requirements, reducing the quantity, type, and size of the capacitors required for any given application.
