As high-speed data technologies evolve to become faster and smaller, sensitivity to electrostatic discharge (ESD) and lightning surges has increased. Now more than ever, a robust and effective surge protection solution is needed that prevents damage, but does not hamper the high-frequency operation of the system. A new transient-current suppressor (TCS) technology offers a brand new approach to meet these demanding requirements.
