MMRC Meeting Dials Up Communications Industry

In an attempt to educate the electronics industry and the financial community about the future of telecommunications, IMAPS conducted its summer Microelectronics Marketing Research Council (MMRC) meeting in New York City, June 22-23. The topic for the meeting was "Future Communication Networks — Trends and Tradeoffs." Presentations were made by academia, telecommunications and computer OEMs, research houses, and Wall Street analysts.
