IBM, HP Push New Open-Source Initiatives

IBM's eServer iSeries offering for Linux, designed for small and medium-sized businesses, will be able to consolidate up to 15 standalone Linux and Windows servers onto a single physical server, Armonk, N.Y.-based IBM reports.
