Developments in thermionic valves during the last sixty years

摘要

The paper identifies the significant developments which have taken place in the construction and manufacture of thermionic valves and tubes over the past 60 years. Transmitting and receiving valves are discussed as well as many special-purpose tubes. The treatment is chronological as far as possible.
