Karnataka Takes Proactive Steps For Securing More Power From Apdrp

To ensure benefits of Rs 3000 crore from the Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme (APDRP) the Government of Karnataka is making some important moves. The Union ministry of power has revised recently the Rs50,000 crore APDRP Programme. Karnataka has already requested the Union Government for more allocation. According to its plans the APDRP has targeted to bring down the losses of the Aggregate Technical and Commercial (AT&C) losses to less than 15 per cent by the end of 11th Five Year Plan in the urban and high population density areas.
