LeCroy has launched its new Zi Series WaveMaster digital oscilloscopes and Serial Data Analysers which provide up to 30GHz bandwidth, 80GS/s sample rate, 512Mpts of analysis and greater than 15GHz edge triggering. The WaveMaster also includes a 15.3", 16:9 high definition touch screen display, Eye Doctor signal integrity tools, TriggerScan rare event capture, a removable front panel, integrated second display, and fast LSIB external data transfer. LeCroy has designed the 8 Zi Series as a single hardware platform, supporting all eight models, spanning four to 30GHz of bandwidth. The standard sample rate is 80GS/s for 20-30GHz bandwidths (40GS/s on all four channels at reduced bandwidth). For 4-16GHz bandwidths, the standard sample rate is 40GS/s on all four channels with an option to increase to 80GS/s on two channels. lOMpts/ch is provided, with memory options up to 256Mpts/ch. All memory is available at full record lengths for analysis processing. In 80 GS/s mode, memory can be interleaved to 512 Mpts/ch.
