The music and film industries' zealous protection of digital content continues to baffle and offend me. Don't misunderstand: As I've repeatedly stated in CommVerge, I don't endorse illegal copying of music, movies, or other protected works. But I still contend that most people are innocent. And the egregious acts of these content owners are traipsing on the rights of guiltless consumers and stifling our industry.
