Some companies are chasing after the retrofit market of LEDs that •fit into incandescent lighting systems, but Tyco Electronics instead targets the next gener-ation of LED-iighting systems, designing them from the ground up to exploit the advantages of solid-state lighting. With its new Nevalo lighting system, Tyco is betting that a modular approach will prove to be the winning one.
