摘要

This paper provides an efficient algorithm for extending the earlier work on the application of the reduction and restoration technique of single-phase systems to three-phase network formulation based on the phase-coordinate Gauss-Seidel load flow algorithm. This technique requires the nodal admittance matrix to be reduced to an equivalent and more compact submatrix. The paper gives performance comparisons between the conventional phase-coordinate Gauss-Seidel algorithm and the improved method mentioned above which indicate significant improvements. The new improved algorithm is found to be fast, efficient, reliable, and able to provide solutions for ill-conditioned systems.
