CMS Energy Tops January

A positive natural gas rate case and an increase in its dividend helped CMS Energy, parent of Consumers Energy, to the top for the month. For the past year, natural gas utilities dominated while less-regulated electric and natural gas companies held on to the bottom. While it has been a total massacre for the Dow Industrials, all C Three indices have at least remained in positive territory.
