This article examines the effects of servant leadership behaviours of primary school principals on teacher job satisfaction. The population of this study is 29 primary schools in Duezce, Turkey. Data were collected from 595 teachers working in primary schools in Duezce province of Turkey. Servant leadership behaviours of principals were determined with the servant leadership scale developed by Laub (1999) while teacher job satisfaction was determined using the job satisfaction scale developed by Mohrman et al. (1977). Mean, standard deviation, correlation and multi-regression test was used in data analysis. Strong positive relationship was revealed between servant leadership behaviours of school principals and teachers' job satisfaction and servant leadership was a significant predictor of teacher job satisfaction.
