Ic design companies in India are building systems expertise in-house to tackle specialized applications. Focused on the telecommunications convergence market, Pune-based Paxonet Communications (India) has designed a single chip for use in multi-service switches that support data/voice traffic at data rates of 2.5 Gbps.
