Green Tint on Brass Wire? We have a Makino SP43 and have been using Hitachi brass wire in .010, .008, and .006 diameters with great success. We recently got 4 rolls of .008 diameter wire from the same supplier but the reels are different and the wire has a green tint to it. Upon using this new wirewe are having threading issues and constant wire breaks. The wire is spooled correctly (no cross over) and seems to be normal other than the color and the machine issues. Do you have any ideas?
