Deh rawud, a small town in a remote corner of Oruzgan province in southern Afghanistan, is far from the main action of America's war against the remaining al-Qaeda and Taliban fighters, which for the past four months has been concentrated on the eastern areas bordering Pakistan. But a less publicised hunt is being conducted there for some of the top leaders of the Taliban movement, who remain at large and are reportedly hiding in the stony mountains of the proyince, from which many of them hail.
