A successful collaboration can provide a competitive advantage by combining the best skills of two or more organisations. Firms engaged in collaborative exercises find that that experience is living up to expectations, and often exceeding it. More than one-quarter (29%) of survey respondents confirm that their company's collaboration with others has provided more value than initially expected, compared with 52% who agree that it met expectations. Just one in ten firms say that their overall experience in collaboration has failed to deliver the expected value.
