Over the next few days that is set to change. The Party of Brazilian Social Democracy (PSDB), which has the best chance of beating Lula, is on the verge of choosing its candidate. The large but amorphous Party of the Brazilian Democratic Movement (PMDB) is to choose on March 19th. Others may join the fray, but these are the challengers that matter.
