摘要

Over the past 5 years, Central West Catchment Management Authority (CMA) has provided financial assistance to help farmers contribute a total of $11.5 million on more than 1000 soil conservation projects covering a total area of more than 1 million hectares. Similar projects were then successfully adopted by DII, Conservation Agriculture NSW Association (CANFA), the Little River Landcare group and several other CMAs across NSW.rnDuring the delivery of these programs the CMA found that our farmers were very interested in learning more about the health of their soils, particularly with regard to soil biology and management practices to increase soil carbon sequestration.
