Powering the Green Economy: The feed-in tariff handbook is a compilation of data pulled from the experiences of some of the key countries that have implemented the titular feed-in tariffs (FITs). The authors provide an insightful analysis of both the tariffs themselves and various implementation strategies that have been tried or theorized. What emerges is a valuable toolbox from which policy makers and advocates can pull practical answers in implementing a FIT. It also provides a motivation for would-be renewable energy investors and businesses during the period following implementation. The book is most successful in compiling and analyzing aggregate data, and in dissecting some of the important tools in a FIT policy bundle. The book's downside, however, is its advocacy tone and approach, which come at the expense of providing a concise practical handbook with objective guidelines.
