The NMK Series of isolated 2-W single output DC/DC converters from Murata Power Solutions comes in a small footprint, pin compatible, industry standard SIP package that allows easy drop-in replacement of other devices. The series also provides a straightforward power upgrade path from the company's existing 1-W NMV Series. Comprising eight models, the un-regulated NMK Series offers designers a choice of 5-V and 12-V inputs and output voltages of 5 V, 9 V, 12 V or 15 V. Efficiency of 89 percent typical (at 15-V output), an output voltage set point accuracy of 7 percent, and 2.5 percent (for a 15-V output) maximum load regulation performance combine to give the NMK series industry-leading performance for converters of this type, according to the company.
