摘要

Based on the example of the analysis of satellite and conventional (ground, balloon, aircraft) observation data on total zone and the vertical profile of the ozone concentration and using the results of measurements of utlraviolet radiation at various heights in the Athens region (Greece) and in mid-latitudes, the need for integrated observations of zone and associated quantities is demonstrated. Attention is drawn to the continuing lack of even a substantiation for an optimal global ozone observation system.
