RPF invests in robots cleanup

Rotterdam Port Fund (RPF) has acquired a stake in Fleet Cleaner, a Netherlands-based company that removes algae that has accumulated on vessels' hulls by using in-house developed robots. A ship's hull can be cleaned during loading and unloading in a port, said RPF in a statement in January, preventing unnecessary delay and demurrage costs.
