Dear Alessandro, rather than offer an opinion, I'd like to respond to a question that has been nagging me insistently for some time. What is irreducibility? Or better: how does it feel when your (or my) design proposals end up inevitably in another world, a parallel universe that everyone seems to be familiar with, but few seem to appreciate? What I mean to say is that although many people like these objects (as well as ideas and performances), they'd never want them in their own homes. They belong to another form of logic. If I had to live on my royalties, I'd already have died of hunger.
