The opening of the Chopin Muzeum for the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Polish musician has attracted great participation from the city and its institutions. The flow of EU funds into Warsaw's cultural reawakening has allowed an investment in the regeneration of a fine baroque building that survived the Nazi devastation - Ostrogski Castle - as a centre that conserves the Polish maestro's memory and promotes a greater knowledge of music.
