High levels of cost per square metre mean that buildings have to carry out numerous functions and respond to a variety of simultaneous uses; Figueras automatic seating systems enable each unit to fold away with the simple press of a button thanks to their innovation, engineering and design. Spaces can be used for a variety of events, offering rich programmes and all kinds of performances. The Gabala conference centre (Azerbaijan) opened recently and has seating for 1,200 people that can be put away in just five minutes thanks to the Mutasub seating system, enabling the space to be used for other functions. For Figueras, it is a question of transforming a standardised element into something unique, turning challenges into practical solutions.
