The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart stands out against the cityscape of the Zuffenhausen district like a spaceship, supported on massive rhomboidal columns. The strong shape of the building, designed by Defugan Meissl Associated Architects, is tempered within by more domestic and welcoming fittings and finishes in warm colours and materials. The Boxenstopp cafeteria shows off the silhouette of the Fina chairs designed by Wolfgang Mezger and produced by Brunner.
