Built in the 1990s, the Le Terrazze Rehabilitation Centre in Cunardo (Varese) has recently been extended. The window-surrounds that distinguished the old building have been remodulated in section and clad in Corten steel. The windows, which use the EBE 65 system, have Corten on the outside-giving continuity to the facades - and satin stainless steel on the inside - which provides the necessary antibacterial characteristics required in hospital environments.
