Among the most indelible images of the recent though in many ways distant Expo 2015, one of the foremost has to be the network of access to the Brazilian pavilion: a playful reinterpretation of the monumental staircase that in six months attracted over five million people. The winning design in an international competition had been submitted by a team of Brazilians from Studio Arthur Casas and Atelier Marko Brajovic with Mosae Milano Open Studio Architecture & Engineering who were then responsible for designing and building the project.
