Recently, the relationship between the macromolec-ular complexes of aminoacyl tRNA synthetases and their stimulating effect on protein synthesis has been established. It was found that tryptophanyl tRNA synthetase (TrpRS) is activated, for example, by hemin [1], phorbol esters [2], erythropoietin [3], and zinc cations [4]. In this regard, of particular interest is the new biologically active compound zinc Tris-2(hydroxy-ethyl)amine-£/s-2(methylphenoxyacetate) with the formula (HOCH2CH2)3N*(2-CH3C6H4OCH2COO)2Zn (crezoxyzincatran). Crezoxyzincatran (CZA) was obtained by the reaction of zinc Ws-2(methylphe-noxyacetate) with Tris-2(hydroxyethyl)amine in etha-nol. Crezoxyzincatran is an analogue of Tris-2(hydroxyethyl)ammonium-2-methylphenoxyacetate, an adaptogen and immunomodulator trecrezan. Trec-rezan, similarly to many triethanolammonium salts of aroxyacetic acids, reduces the injury of elastic fibers, stabilizes cell membranes, and has a good biocompat-ibility [5-7]. The detection of activation of TrpRS will make it possible to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of action of CZA on the expression of TrpRS at various levels, including at the level of mRNA. In view of this, the goal of this study was to investigate the effect of CZA on the expression of TrpRS.
