Member Satisfaction Results Are In: IDEA acts on member feedback

Idea thanks all members who participated in the online Member Satisfaction Survey, which was conducted in October. A total of 162 members completed the survey, resulting in a 29 percent response rate. The survey's goal was to help IDEA continue to focus its education, legislative, and marketing activities to produce the greatest value for IDEA members. Three $50 gift certificates to Amazon.com were offered as an incentive to complete the survey. The winners were Thomas Herzog of Conectiv Thermal Systems; Lanny Joyce of Cornell University; and Ferman Millster of University of Iowa. Here are some survey highlights and immediate actions that IDEA is taking in dents. Respondents have worked in the district energy field for an average of 14.5 years and represent a variety of industry sectors, as shown in figure 1.
