摘要

First built in 1893, Citizens Thermal's Perry K steam plant was originally constructed to provide electricity and low-pressure steam to downtown Indianapolis. Although the plant has changed over the years to keep pace with the changing energy demands of a growing city, it operates today with 8 boilers with a combined steam capacity of nearly 2.0 million pounds per hour, and it supplies a steam system that delivers nearly 7.5 billion pounds of steam annually.
