Perhaps no other vendor has retooled in quite as dramatic fashion as Imagine Communications.The last 18 months have seen the former Harris Broadcast make high-profile acquisitions and the company says it has made a conscious effort to partner with broadcasters who are often already transi-tioning to a multidelivery world with more of the infrastructure governed by software and IT/IP. Perhaps the biggest "win" from the company's reinvention was announced at its Sunday press:The Disney/ABC Television Group of networks is now transi-tioning its linear broadcast operations to a unified IP cloud architecture using Imagine Communications' VersioCloud, Imagine's IP-enabled, integrated playout in the cloud platform.
